About Us
The International Opportunity
Wonderful Teen International is a globally recognised youth pageant held annually overseas, bringing together young representatives from around the world to celebrate culture, talent, confidence, and empowerment.
The next international edition will take place in El Salvador from November 22nd to 29th, 2026, offering delegates a truly unforgettable international experience.
South African titleholders will have the opportunity to represent their country on a global stage, experience new cultures, participate in professional pageant events, build lifelong international friendships, and develop confidence and leadership skills that will benefit them far beyond the competition.
Age Categories
Choose your category carefully before entering. Each level is based on age and stage of development. All categories follow the same values, rules, and judging standards, with age-appropriate expectations and training.
Pre-Teen
For girls aged 11 to 14. This category focuses on confidence, basic stage skills, and personal growth in a supportive environment.
Teen
For young women aged 15 to 20. This category places stronger emphasis on leadership, communication, and interview skills.
Teen Petite
For young women aged 15 to 21. This category places stronger emphasis on leadership, communication, and interview skills.
Pageant Information
This section explains how the pageant works from entry to finals. You will find clear steps, expectations, and key dates. The process focuses on preparation, personal development, and fair assessment across all categories.
Why enter
Joining this pageant is more than stepping onto a stage it’s a journey of growth and empowerment. Contestants take part in professional workshops, structured rehearsals, and guided mentoring sessions designed to build confidence, discipline, leadership, and teamwork. Many of our past participants have seen remarkable improvement in their self-esteem, school performance, communication skills, and social confidence.
This experience equips young women with life skills that last far beyond the crown.
Who can apply
This pageant proudly welcomes South African girls across 2 age categories. No previous pageant experience is required we believe in potential, not perfection.
What matters most is commitment, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong parental or guardian support. Every young lady is given the opportunity to grow, shine, and succeed.
The national journey
Once selected, your exciting journey officially begins. Contestants attend scheduled training and development sessions leading up to the national finale in Johannesburg in October.
These sessions focus on:
• Stage confidence and presentation
• Interview and communication skills
• Teamwork and leadership development
By the time you reach the national stage, you are fully prepared to perform with confidence and grace.
International representation
Our national titleholders earn the prestigious opportunity to represent South Africa on an international stage.
At the international finals, delegates from various countries come together to participate in:
• Cultural exchanges
• Organised events and workshops
• Formal competitions and showcases
This global experience builds independence, cultural awareness, and unforgettable memories while proudly flying the South African flag.
Parental involvement
We believe success is a team effort. Parents and guardians are actively involved throughout the journey.
